Who hangs pictures on the staircase wall? Who washes the dishes after others?

Am I the one who left the windows opened? 45 pictures from a 45-day-long journey.

During a study trip I had the chance to spend a few days in eight different foreign cities. In every city local people hosted me, so I immediately found myslef in their most intimate spaces which are normally strictly closed for strangers. That is how the photo series came to be. I payed close attention to these interiors and I realized that I can get to know a lot about a place and its residents if I learn to read the signs. By having distinguished the elements which make me feel comfortable or uncomfortable at a place, I am now able to form my personal spaces more consciously.
